How can I join Air Force or Navy? I am unable to clear NDA exam. Is there any other way to join them?

I passed my 12th with 65-70% marks with PCM stream and currently I am pursuing 3rd year of mechanical engineering?

Yes, you should try for CDSE and AFCAT exams which are for degree holders.

Join as an officer in Indian Air Force. It is required that you have to play year the NDA exam but for the living there is 2 exams. One is the NDA exam and another one is the B tech 10+2 TES Entry. As an officer in Indian Air Force, you have to complete your graduation first, but for Navy, there are technical entries which are totally based on class 12th percentage and PCM is mandatory in it.

You can join as an officer in Indian Air Force and Indian Navy after +2 stage with PCM through NDA examination conducted by UPSC twice a year. You can repeat examination even if you have failed once. You can join executive branch of Indian Navy directly after +2 stage PCM based on marks score in +2

The Commission will release the NDA 2 notification 2026 on the official portal at upsc.gov.in. It will be issued on May 20, 2026. The last date to apply for NDA 2 will be June 9, 2026. 

The Commission released the NDA 1 notification 2026 on December 10. Along with the notification, the application process was started. The last date to fill the application form online was December 30.
