How can I join any student organisation in LPU?

At Chandigarh University you can join student organizations. Here the Academic, as well as placements, is very nice. The professor is very much supportive. Every day there's new learning. Here you get a lot of things to explore. Chandigarh University has very good hostels and the food is also nice. So no worries about hostels. It is almost digitalized you get all study materials even in libraries you get computers that just enhance your knowledge. Here is the no. of placements are very nice. Amazon, IBM, and many more MNCs come here for placement.

Hi Virat, LPU does not only focus on academics. Holistic development is the mantra of LPU. For this, LPU gives full freedom to students to form clubs and student organisations for freedom of speech. There are over hundred student organisations and dozens of clubs that one can associate with. The purpose of student organizations is to provide a structure through which students may exercise their right to freely associate in pursuit of a common purpose or goal that enhances community. Recognised student organizations create opportunities for leadership development, learning, student engagement, and fostering of shared interests. All recognised student organizations are expected to uphold University policies and procedures and always act in good faith when conducting organizational business. Further, recognition does not imply that the University assumes liability or legal responsibility for the actions of any group. Recognition of a group does not deprive the University of any of its rights to act for the welfare of the community. Continuation of recognition is dependent upon the fulfillment of intent and demonstrated ability to abide by the organisation's constitutions and the University's educational purposes. The organisations at LPU are formed under various heads, namely, ACADEMIC & TECHNICAL AGRICULTURE ARTISAN AYURVEDA AND YOGA CAREER ORIENTED DISASTER MANAGEMENT ENTREPRENEURSHIP ENVIRONMENT, FOREST & RENEWAL ENERGY FITNESS THROUGH NATURAL REMEDIES FOREIGN & RESEARCH EDUCATION INITIATION HEALTH AND SANITATION HOBBIES & RECREATIONAL LITERARY, MEDIA & PUBLICATIONS LPU CHAPTER OF INTERNATIONAL & NATIONAL STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS SOCIAL WASTE MANAGEMENT The students can choose the organisation of their interest and register with the DSA, which is the Division of Students' Affairs and engage in various activities related to the club or organisation. One can even start one's own. The only condition is that the organisation proposed should aim at supporting the intellectual environment of university with disciplined terms for the enhancement of individual personality in pursuance for the true knowledge. The organisation must have support from the teacher, members of the administrative staff and other University Officials.

Abhivyakti-Literary Club Bhagat Puran Singh Club: This club promotes the essence of social service among students. Students will be volunteering to educate the students of underprivileged. You can join student organizations at Chandigarh University. Academics and placements are both excellent here. The lecturer is quite helpful. There's something new to learn every day. There are several things to discover here. Chandigarh University has excellent accommodations and delicious meals. So there's no need to be concerned about hostels. It is virtually entirely digital; all study materials are available digitally, and computers are available in libraries to help you expand your knowledge. The answer is no. The majority of the placements are excellent. Amazon, IBM, and a slew of other multinational corporations come here to hire.

Dear Virat, In LPU, students have many organizations that are completely run by students. I did MBA from this University and I would say Lovely Professional University is one of the best choices indeed. It provides for multiple industrial exposures, live projects, an updated curriculum rigor and technology along with very good placements and personality development. Lovely Professional University provides lots and lots of opportunities to its students and student organisation is one of that opportunities. Apart from studies here students through these organizations motivate many students and do lots of things for their welfare. There are around 60 student organizations in LPU and there are many events conducted by these organizations. They also give awards and certificates to the students for their achievements. The organisation is run by the student and monitored by University whereas the Department is directly run by University. There are various student organizations and clubs are there in LPU. A few of them are KINGHILLS, Digantara, Illuminati, Club20, Club ElecTech Illuminati Racers, etc. Many more clubs are there in LPU, and you need to explore that. Actually, the clubs are under DSA or School of Professional Enhancement 1, 2, 3. For getting membership in the Clubs of LPU, you can meet the coordinators of the clubs at the time of admission at their respective counters in Baldev Raj Mittal Auditorium, in Unipolis. Also, you can join the WhatsApp Groups of these clubs and participate in the activities according to your preferences. Later on, you can also join the club by visiting the DSA block. Club activities: I am also a part of Markophiles Club which is the No. 1 group in MBA, you have to go through group discussions and a Personal Interview after then you will be analyzed and if you are fit for the club. Congratulations you are in. More than 30 clubs to choose from. Clubs are good place for first year students to know how to work in teams and achieving a goal in a given time. LPU provide enough exposure to students so that one can stand well in coming era of his/her life. With this initiative students will never feel alone in the campus.
