To join IIT Hyderabad aspriring candidates need to clear JEE, GATE, CEED or UCEED. To be eligible for the BTech programme at IIT Hyderabad aspring candidates need to clear JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced and they also need to have 75% in their class 12 exam. The BTech programme is offered under 15 specialisations at IIT Hyderabad. Some of the specialisations include Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering.

IIT Hyderabad offers various courses in undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels in science, engineering, and technology. The admission to these courses is based on the score obtained in different entrance exams:
- For undergraduate courses, you need to have a valid score in KVPY, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, or NEET-UG.
