How can I join Indian Air Force after completing class 12th?

I want to become an IAF officer.

    Hello Shikhar, You can join Indian Air Force or Navy after passing 12th. For this, you may apply for NDA (National Defense Service). The NDA examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year to recruit the candidates in Army, Navy & Air Force. NDA Eligibility Criteria:
    1. Nationality: A candidates must be either (a) Indian (b) Nepal (c) Bhutan (d)A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (e)A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi

    After completing your class 12th, you should appear in the National Defense Academy examination conducted twice a year, by UPSC if you get selected you could opt for Air Force, but to remember an air force cadet in Indian Air force through NDA gets flying branch only. All the best.
