    To join Indian Foreign Service you need to clear Union Public Service Commission examination conducted by Indian government every year. This examination is conducted for services like IAS, IPS, IFS and IRS. You need to specify your choice from among these services in order of your preference. Examination is conducted in two phases, Preliminary and Mains. Where preliminary is multiple choice objective questions comprised of General studies, English , Aptitude and General knowledge on the other hand Mains is completely written examination based on your choice of subjects specified while filing application form.
