NDA examination is conducted twice a year by UPSC for selection of Commissioned Officers for Army ,Navy and Air Force. Examination is conducted 2 times a year. Those candidates who clear written examinations are called for 5 days Services Selection Board and assessed for Officer Like Qualities. Those who clear SSB go for Medical examination. Those who make into merit list undergo 3 years common training at Pune. Then they undergo one year training at respective three arms training centres. Once they complete training candidates get commissioned in rank of Lt or equivalent with CTC of about 5+ Lakhs.
