How can I join the Indian Army?

If you want to become an Indian army officer, then join NDA or try CDS exam. Both exams are conducted by UPSC twice in a year. Eligibility criteria of both exam are:-
For NDA:
The candidate must be an Indian citizen. The candidate must be an unmarried male. The candidate must be passed/appeared in class 12th with a government recognised university/school. The candidate must be medically fit. He must be in between 16.5-19 years. For CDS
Candidate should be completed graduation with subject Maths and Physics. Candidate who are appearing final year exam are also eligible. Age Limit

For OTA 19 to 25
For NA 19 to 22

For joining Indian Army, you have many ways. After class 12th, you can apply for NDA TES entries. After graduation, you can apply for CDSE, NCC, UES, TGC, ACC, SCO, PCSl. In all above case you have to clear SSB interview to get selected. Also, eligibility for all entries is different. Check it with official website. You need to fill the examination form of NDA that you can find on UPSC website. Check the calendar on the website as it happens twice a year. After clearing the written exam you are called for the SSB interview. It is a 5 day long rigorous test series in which you go through many physical and mental tests. If you happen to clear SSB you are called a recommended candidate, after getting recommended you go through the medical test for at least 3 days.
