    For engineers, the Indian Railway offers two services. The first is the prestigious group, the Central Engineering Services (IES). The second one is junior engineer (JE) services. There are two positions for electrical engineers to apply for.
    (a) First, you can apply for the Indian Engineering Services Exam conducted by UPSC. When completing the application, you must select the "Electrical Engineer" branch. After passing the written exam, you can choose Indian Railways Services for Electrical Engineers from the "preferred services" section of DAF.
