    VBSPU - Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur is UGC Approved, Grade 'B+' accredited by NAAC, State University and a Member of AIU. Hence, the government recognised.     Yes, the university got accreditation in the year 2004. Still, you can check on the NCTE website.
