As a lecturer I strongly recommend you following tips to improve English 1. watch lot of English movies WITH SUBTITLES 2. listen to lot of English songs WITH LYRICS 3. learn New words (Vocabulary) 4. learn Pronunciation 5. learn Grammar

If you have basics of English, it is not a problem. Take care of the sound aspect of the words. Mind how each word is stressed. Understand the rhythm of English. You should not sound like your mother tongue. Try to be clear, if you want to be understood, immediately. Then, go on using English.
