    Novelists are creative writers that brainstorm and write fictional books. Along with a good imagination, schooling and training in creative writing and English is recommended for a writer hoping to become a novelist. They develop strong concepts that will be constant throughout the length of the novel. They often write fiction stories where they develop compelling fictional characters, plots, and settings. They conduct a great deal of research to contribute authenticity to the narrative. Novelists let their imaginations run wild to create long narratives that will capture the interest of readers.
