Career in this field remains bright. You have lots of option after anesthesia: Pain fellowship Critical care Cardiac anesthesia Freelance Average pay around 2 LPA where demand is increasing, like in tier 2 and 3 city and town area.
Otherwise 1 to 1.5 LPA. It is for anesthesia only, no fellowship incl
