Hotel management is developing as one of the promising vocation alternatives.
There are different PG courses in the field of inn and cordiality administration, for example:
1. Masters in bakery and confectionery.
2. Masters in restaurant and counter service.
3. Masters in hotel management providing food and nutrition.
4. PG Diploma in international hotel management.
5. PG Diploma in accommodation operation and management.
6. Masters in hotel administration and catering technology.
7. Masters in hotel reception and book keeping. -
You can do M.Sc in HM or MBA in HM. For M.Sc in HM, you can check NCHMCT website for the eligibility criteria. There are few colleges in India, which provide MBA degree in HM through online/ distance mode. MBA in HM is worth only, if you do it from abroad.
According to me, you should appear for MBA entrance exams like CAT, MAT, SNAP, NMAT, etc. and drop the idea of hotel management because you already have a BBA degree and pursuing Masters in the same field would be better rather than joining a different industry.
