How can I make a career in the IT field? Will my previous experience count?
I have done B.Tech in E and C and aCCNA course as well. I have 4 years of experience in the telecom industry.

If you move to IT infrastructure management then your relevant experience will be considered during job switch. If you do software courses and then try to switch to IT industry then your total telecom experience may not be counted as relevant experience for salary fixation. You may be given lower proportionate experience benefits as per company policies.
