Nitin, it is a long journey of learning. Most hollywood directors would be good with a lot of aspects of storytelling, including acting, story writing, storyboarding, cinematography, film editing, special effects and animation. Any extra skill can be used in this. So it turns out to be one of the most challenging as well as satisfying careers. Sure not recommended for the weak hearted. Do remember that digital design careers (e.g. web design, graphics, UI design, animation, vfx, multimedia) give better profits since they can be delivered anywhere in the world & hence may earn in dollars - resulting in better rewards for designers. Hi Nitin,
it is necessary for everyone to start career in any sector you should gain knowledge about the basic aspects of film making such as Direction, Cinematography, Camera angles, market demand as in what type of films or T.V. shows etc. So i would suggest you to join some course related to Film making and direction so that you gain the relevant knowledge (subjective & practical).To start a career you should join some good production house or an AD agency as a trainee to groom yourself.

To start your career in film direction it is necessary for you to gain knowledge about the basic aspects of film making such as Direction, Cinematography,Camera angles, market demand as in what type of films or T.V. shows are in, etc. So i would suggest you join some course related to Film making and direction so that you gain the relevant knowledge.
