How can I make career in software programming?

Earn a degree in software engineering or equivalent discipline. Most software engineer positions require a Bachelor's degree. Majoring in software engineering will provide the most useful background for designing and perfecting software in the corporate world. Computer science is another good choice, although its more theoretical approach is best suited for future graduate students and R&D work. If you're still in grade school, you can give yourself a huge head start by teaching yourself. You can start with languages like C, C+, JAVA, UNIX and Shell Scripting. Seek an internship- Many software engineer students work as interns while they complete their studies. This can be an excellent way to gain hands-on training and network with potential employers. Start working- Check job search websites regularly. Create a profile and post your resume to professional sites and use them for networking as well as job applications.

Hello, Software industry is exponentially expanding, the scope and growth of information industry are unmatched. To start your career with software programming, one can opt for Software engineering/Computer engineering or any other related field of engineering. One can also opt for BCA followed by MCA. No matter what course a candidate takes, in IT industry what is more important is your knowledge. A candidate should keep himself updated on the trends and changes in the industry. Programming is a must if one wants to start his career in Software. For programming, a candidate should focus on the thinking and algorithm part and good with syntax of any one language.
