How can I make my career in Bollywood as a playback singer?

Hi Ananya! There is no formula of sure shot success in Bollywood. You need to be a very good singer first and should have a good training in vocals. These days there are so many reality shows that serve as a platform for success like Indian Idol, Voice of India etc. You can give your career a kick-start by auditioning for these shows. Please remember that stardom does not come overnight and you need to be very patient with your dreams if you want to make it big in the industry.

I would suggest you to first try your luck in reality shows as this will give an opportunity to enter the industry. Create a network with useful people and benefit from opportunities that might come your way owing to the clout of the academy/ teacher. Rope in other musicians and form a band, upload stuff on youtube, initially, you could pay to promote, etc.
