Flight Dispatcher's Job is of equal responsibility as of a Pilot. They decide the Flight Levels, Routes, and Alternates etc. Hence, to become a Dispatcher you are required to hold a graduation preferably in Science.
There are training colleges like CTE in Hyderabad, where Air India provides training for being a dispatcher. There are many other colleges or institutes which do so. And, for being a Dispatcher in India, you need to clear DGCA exams for the same.
The job is a valued one and presently in demand. Be it a A320 or B737 Dispatcher.

A flight dispatch job is well paid. The dispatcher is well trained in areas such as Meteorology, Advance flight planning, D.G.C.A regulations, Aircraft systems and performance, the Air traffic control systems, Global navigation systems and Emergency. You should be able to handle the pressure. Air india offers a Flight dispatch course. Many candidates also prefer to obtain the license by enrolling for this course in united states as the course duration is less.
