IIM Visakhapatnam accepts the scores and percentile obtained by candidates in the CAT exam for IIM Visakhapatnam course admissions. Candidates who want to take admission to the PGP or MBA programme offered by the institute must prepare diligently for CAT exam and further must prepare for Personal Interview round. Candidates must have good knowledge about Bachelor's degree subjects, work experience and extra curricular activities. Check CAT Preparation Strategy.

  • You should concentrate on CAT scores and should get good score in that.So 80 will be good score to get admission.

IIMV uses multiple parameters, namely academic performance in 10th standard examination, 12th standard examination and Bachelor's degree examination, candidate's scores in CAT to judge the suitability of candidates for the PGP program. Relevant work experience, if any is also given weight in the selection.
