How can I prepare for CA?

Hi Upendra, CA has 3 stages CPT IPCC FINAL As you have completed your class 12 you can attempt CPT which is the preliminary stage of CA. CPT exams are held twice in a year- June and December. You can attempt the December one. You have the following 4 papers in CPT FUNDAMENTALS OF ACCOUNTING MERCANTILE LAW GENERAL ECONOMICS QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE- which comprise of Maths and Statistics It is being heard that the syllabus is going to change and the exams are going to be descriptive type. And also an additional paper is going to get added to it- COMMUNICATIVE ENGLISH. Hope this helped you

Hi Upendra, You can go with CA. Its just that you have work little hard in comparison with Commerce background students. Chartered Accountancy can be pursued after Class 10+2 or graduation. After Class X, a student has the option of registering with the Institute of Chartered Accountants for the Common Proficiency Test (CPT). A student who has passed Common Proficiency Test (CPT) and Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination may join the Professional Competence Course (PCC). Simultaneously, the student must register for articled training for a period of three-and-half years. Final exams of the Board can be taken in the last year of article-ship. In the industry, CAs are generally found in decision making positions of the finance division. CAs are involved with planning and financial strategies, preparing prospectuses for share issues, managing pension funds and long-term investments, investigation of prospective investments, merger or takeover. There are lot of opportunities for you in top universities of india as you got quite good marks in your 12th. Various fields are: Engineering, B.Com, B.Sc etc in various specialization As you are interested in CA go for BBA Financial Market. Check for this course in various top universities as GNDU, Lovely Professional University, IP university. Best of luck.
