Hi,
The most common way to prepare for CAT is by joining an institute such as TIME or Tathagat. Depending on the region you stay in, you can find out the most renowned institute in your locality and choose. Also, there are multiple books that are available. You can also sign up for online courses to practice on your own. -
Minimum 50% is enough to appear for CAT exam. Its not that easy to score good in CAT. You have to take time & have to prepare well. Most of the CAT aspirants take from 1 year or above to prepare well in order to get a good score.
You can try now & know about the difficulty & patterns about it.
I would like to suggest some books:
Arihant Publications, Quantum CAT & other CAT related books like R.S. Agarwal.
