How can I prepare for IBPS without coaching?

Hello Nikita, If you want to prepare for the IBPS exams without coaching, then you must be ready to do extra hard work. As the level of difficulty is increasing day by day and the no of candidates for the exam also gradually increasing every year thus there is very tough competition for the banking exams. Follow these preparation tips which will help a little : You must know the topics asked in the exam, so start with going through the syllabus and exam pattern. Note down all the topics and filter the topics you need extra efforts to prepare. Clear your basics and learn important formulas. Make your short notes for the revision. Use short tricks to solve the problems quickly. Learn cubes, tables, and squares for the faster calculation. Study material plays vital role in preparation so choose the books and study material wisely. Practice the questions which are asked frequently in previous year papers. The best practice is to solve online mock test to be aware of the type of questions asked in the exam. Do not think what other people says. If you are giving your best then it is not impossible to crack the exam without coaching. Just make your strategy and follow your study plan strictly. Be positive and be confident.

Hello, There are basically 4 sections in Bank exam - Verbal Ability, DILR, Quants and GK. Verbal Ability: Start reading newspaper daily to increase your reading speed and grasping power. It will also help you to get in touch with basic vocab. Don't miss out the editorial page. Do a proper analysis of articles on the editorial page. Try to make a summary of articles that you read para by para. You can switch to the book called WORD POWER MADE EASY by NORMAN LEWIS. DILR The best thing to score in LR-DI is to practice more questions on a daily basis so you understand which sets you should leave and before attempting the sets what are the things you should look for. I would suggest 'Puzzles by George J Summers'. Quants This section is one of the most scoring section for student and you too should try to get maximum marks in this section. It has a proper syllabus and you need to practice each and every chapter. The major topics are- Geometry, Arithmetic, Algebra, Number System and Modern Math. It is basically the math that you have studied till the tenth standard. However, having said that, the questions are not really easy. Focus more on Arithmetic and Algebra as these two are the most important topics. GK Read newspaper daily for current affairs and go for Lucent for GK.

Hello, IBPS Bank Exams is one of the toughest exams conducted in India. So, you have to prepare well for the exam. IBPS conducts four bank exams: IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, IBPS RRB and IBPS SO exam. These exams are conducted separately in different months. The best way to prepare for these exams is to solve previous year questions papers. Also, take the online mock tests regularly. This will help you analyze your level of preparation and also increase your speed and accuracy. Refer the best books and study materials for your preparation. Make notes of all the important stuff. This will help you in your last minute preparation. Study at least 6-7 hours daily or more. Give your last 30-45 minds to the revision daily. Best of luck.
