To begin with, Delhi is not the only center for Indian Institute of Mass Communication. It has its branches in Dhenkanal, Maharashtra, Kashmir, etc. For PG Diploma in Journalism, one needs to have all the current affairs on their tips along with a stronghold on English/Hindi - depending on the fact that in which language you chose to pursue Journalism in.
GK/Current Affairs:

7 years agoIIMC Delhi provides PG Diploma and Diploma courses. To take admission in IIMC, prepare yourself for the entrance test and the personal interview after passing the test. IIMC entrance tests are held normally in the month of May. Entrance paper pattern for Journalism Courses:-I) General Awareness, including an understanding of social dynamics; interest in social history; awareness of public debates on matters of polity and economy; awareness about international developments influencing power equations in the world and their impact on India. ii) Aptitude & mental. iii) language capability & iv) Analytical & comprehension skills.
