    First of all, analyze the syllabus of JAM applied geology then prefer the reference books which covers all topics and also have modal test papers.
    Solve previous years question papers by this you will getting idea about question types which will be asked in the exam and also found your weak points.

    Practice mock test papers to make strong weak areas.

    The IIT-JAM Geology Paper is a three hour paper. There are 44 questions in all. The total number of marks of the paper is 300. The paper has both objective as well as subjective type questions. All the objective questions carry 30% of the weight age whereas the subjective ones carry 70% of the weight age. There is a separate sheet provided to mark the answers objective type questions. Make sure to darken the correct answer only in the sheet provided to you and nowhere else on the question. In case of subjective questions, there is space provided after each question to write a detailed answer.

As per the notification of IIT JAM 2020, the online applications are scheduled from 4th september 2019 to 9th October 2019 and IIT JAM exam 2020 will be held on 9th February 2020. Application fee will be accepted by 9th October 2019. Thereafter, candidates will be able to make the corrections in IIT JAM online application in November. Coming to the next step: IIT JAM Admit card will be out from 7th January 2020. On 20th March 2020, IIT JAM result 2020 will be declared. So, aspirants, save all the dates as you cannot afford to miss any of them.
