For cracking these two exams (I.e. JEE Mains and JEE Advanced), you need to follow some best study strategies like-
1. Do smart work rather than hard work.
2. Solve NCERT as well as reference books problems of PCM.
3. Optional: Join any good JEE coaching institute.
4. Solve last year question pap

Try to cover the basic concepts of 11 and 12th PCM, go through the last 10 years sample papers and try to solve mock papers online as this would be really helped for preparing JEE exam.

For preparation of JEE exam, give 4 to 5 hours for preparing in a day and refer Cengage book for maths. This is best book for maths.
