For cracking these two exams (I.e. JEE Mains and JEE Advanced), you need to follow some best study strategies like-
    1. Do smart work rather than hard work.
    2. Solve NCERT as well as reference books problems of PCM.
    3. Optional: Join any good JEE coaching institute.
    4. Solve last year question paper of JEE exams.
    5. Revise all formulas properly.

JEE needs consistency only. You need to be regular in your studying plus you need to devote at least 5 hours daily to self-study. And, at last, everyday revision and timely tests are necessary for success in JEE.
    All the best.
