How can I prepare for LPUNEST?

Hi Niharika, LPU NEST is an entrance test conducted by LPU for admission in various programmes. It aims to check how far the concepts from the previous qualification are clear. It's tough but those who have studied honestly will be able to make it. Don't you worry, the syllabus of LPU NEST is all that you have studied in your previous qualification. In addition to it, there are questions of reasoning, verbal ability, analytical ability are also there. LPU NEST is a proctored exam and questions are asked in the form of MCQs. The result is displayed on the dashboard of the student after 24 hrs. One gets two chances of attempting LPU NEST. The best of the two results will be applicable for scholarship. One has to register oneself with the university and pay online for taking LPU NEST. Application form will be in a format that can be processed by Optical Mark Reader (OMR). One can get a LPU NEST kit that consists of a University Information Brochure containing details of Infrastructure, Global Character, Placements, Academics, Student services, Campus life etc. LPU NEST Booklet comprising details of Programmes applicable, Eligibility, Fee and Scholarship, Schedule of Test, Question Paper Pattern, Test Cities etc. Applicants may obtain LPU NEST Kit from University Campus or admission office or any other prescribed place by paying cash. Cost of Application form and Printed LPU NEST Kit 1500 (for Boys) and 1000 (for Girls). One can take the Online Remotely Proctored LPU NEST exam from Home. One can get the test altered and can avail a second chance as well. The best out of the two results will be considered for scholarships. One can go to the admission offices physically and fill the forms manually as well. The minimum score is decided by the University and it depends upon various factors. The factors on which the cut off will depend on including the number of candidates, the number of vacant seats, marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test cut off of last year. I gave my LPU NEST in 2020 and it was the most systematically designed questionnaire based on the understanding of concepts of the student on related topics. I registered in LPU, gave LPU NEST (qualifying and Scholarship Exam and got myself a scholarship of 40% which was the maximum scholarship possible in the B.Tech CSE (Hons. ). Programme. If you take my advice download the previous year's papers and practice them with the concepts you are studying in your respective education. Best of luck with your exam.

Hi! Being an Alumni of LPU. I can answer this well. Nothing is difficult if you are having the power to conquer it. Moreover, if you would be giving your 100% commitment as well as dedication to your exams you would be surely be the winner. It is also implemented for LPU NEST. Basically, LPU NEST fulfills two criteria a)Eligibility B) Scholarship The pattern and syllabus would be according to the course. However, the syllabus would be the part of your previous qualification. The test would consist of all the Multiple-Choice Questions with NO NEGATIVE MARKING. If you would outperform you would be getting the utility ofc maximum scholarship as the slab varies from 50% to 30%. .

Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, first of all decide the programme that you want to join and check its Eligibility criteria for Admission. LPU conducts LPU NEST for all the programmes. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. For most of the programmes, it serves both the purposes. As per the official website of LPU, the Schedule for LPU NEST has been started for all the programmes for this current session I. e 2021. I cracked LPU NEST in the year 2019, for preparation of LPU NEST you first need to check the subjects which will from your test. If you are applying for any Graduation programme, the syllabus would be from your Classes 11th and 12th only. English subject is a mandatory part of this exam. If you are applying for LPU NEST B.Tech then the subject would be Physics Chemistry English and you can choose between Maths and Biology. And if you are looking for any other graduation programme, subjects may vary, but those would be from your class 11th and 12th only. Content is completely based on basics and specific topics are shared on their website as well. And now, if you are applying for LPU NEST for any PG programme, in this case, the subject would be based on graduation and the same goes with a syllabus. The test is in Online mode and follows the MCQ pattern. My tips: Attempt the complete test as there is no negative marking. When I gave this exam for eligibility and scholarship I took help from the LPU website. Everything is available there. It's a National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programs in Lovely Professional University. It's all about checking your concepts and the best thing is it has no negative marking. Anyways, just make sure your concept is clear and you check sample questions and paper from the website of LPU. And practice them. It is neither much easier nor harder. If you have good knowledge about the concepts then it is easy to crack. LPU has always been welcoming to hard-working students. Hence you can find the syllabus of LPU NEST. Exam dates, exam patterns too on the LPU website. The paper is designed on the very basic knowledge of the courses that you have studied to date and also focused on the discipline you are writing the exam. English subject is a mandatory part in this exam. That's all from my side. I hope this helps :). .

Dear Niharika, Being alumni of LPU, I can answer this question. If you are appearing for LPU NEST for graduation, just refer to your class 11 and 12 books, all those you have studied during your last 2 years. If you are appearing for LPU NEST for post-graduation, just brush up on your basics of Graduation. However, do have a look over the topic-wise syllabus, question paper pattern, sample paper on the website. And make your basics and concepts strong. LPU NEST (Lovely Professional University National Eligibility & Entrance Test) is a National Level test conducted by LPU in Online Proctored mode this year. Means student can take up this exam online through any of the means Laptop / Desktop / Android Mobile phone. Every year almost 5 Lacs aspirants used to take up this National Level Exam. For many purposes like Study Grant or Admission or Scholarship, more over capability index judgement. Valid score card of LPU NEST 2021 exam is mandatory for taking admission in some of the courses in LPU, but for some courses students could take direct admission. For both the cases, performance in LPU NEST would be considered for scholarship purpose also. Students need to register themselves in the online portal of LPU & then apply online for the LPU NEST examination. LPU NEST Examination is very transparent in nature. This is a National Level test & this is like competitive type of Exam. Ranking of the students is actually get published after every phase of Exam. Student could prepare themselves by downloading Syllabus, Question Paper Pattern, Previous Years question paper, sample question etc. As per my experience, if any student study well & keep focus on subjects, LPU NEST will not be tough to them. There is a provision of taking up practice Test as well before final LPU NEST Exam. Student will get Excellent Scholarship based on the performance.
