    Well, in Lovely professional university, LPU NEST (entrance exam) is not a mandate for taking admission in M.Sc. Microbiology. So you can directly proceed for the admission if you satisfy the percentage criteria I. e. 60 percentages of marks. In case you wish to apply for LPU NEST exam for scholarship purpose, then you may appear even after completion of your admission procedure. Good Luck.

    To appear in any exam it is always better to study previous year concepts in details. Anyway, for LPU NEST you can follow this https://nest.lpu.in/pg-sciences/syllabus.php. However, this year LPU NEST for M.Sc. Microbiology will be only for scholarship. Thus, Online Admission is already open. One can proceed further by visiting their website. You can sear LPU's toll free number from google and call them. Believe me their Academic Executives will guide you in more effective way.
