Get in line with the Business side of the daily news articles. Be well informed politically and know what and where you want to be in near future.
Forget about how things run in an IT company and come with a blank frame of reference. Try to learn some finance basics if interested in finance.
Basically just being well informed in every day's who's who and political knowledge should be a good starting choice -
Hi Sarang,In 1st year of MBA the course is such as any student from any discipline get the opportunity to know the basics of every subject. In MBA colleges you will find major portion of the students with same profile (Engineering and IT) So you will not face any problem . But still you can study the basic economics and accounting and LEARN THE PPT SKILL(It will sail you through every phase).

8 years agoMBA is about Business Management. You can enhance your understanding of what Management is. Human Resource, Organizational Behaviour etc. I am of the view that your IT or engineering background is not a hindrance in understanding any subject of MBA.
