How can I prepare for SSC CGL?
I want to crack this exam & am from a poor family. So, I can't afford any coaching. Can you help me find a way of preparing myself for SSC CGL?

For the SSC CGL Tier I, the focus should be on the subjects such as quantitative aptitude, English, general studies and reasoning. For scoring higher marks in Tier I, regular practice of mock/ previous year question papers is a must. For Quantitative aptitude, concentrate on areas which have been constantly asked in the examination such as SI/CI, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, etc. And, follow the similar strategy for other subjects. In General studies, the focus must be on static/traditional syllabus such as History, Geography, Polity, Economics with regular reading of newspapers.
