    In order to become a judge, one has to qualify the Judicial Service Examination conducted by the Public Service Commission of the respective state. To be eligible for the examination, one must hold a degree in law field from a recognized university or institution affiliated to any university recognized by the state government or the Central Government. Candidate must be enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council of any state or Union Territory in India on the date of advertisement for the examination.
