How can I proceed from shifting to a technical job from a non-technical one?

I graduated in arts (BA in journalism, lit. and psychology). I had to work at a technical company as a customer support executive. Now because on my educational background, my growth is stopped there. How do I move to a different non-technical field and which field would be suggested?
