Dear Anika,
If you are a medical student then you should make a career in this field. It is a good field where you can get success but if you want to do mass communication then you can opt for the same, but it will be better for you if you pursue a medical course. There are a lot of medical courses available. -
You can check out Amity University, Mumbai for journalism and mass communication courses along with a scholarship. You need to score above 85 percent marks in class 12th then there will be maximum chances for the scholarship.

The candidate must have completed Senior Secondary/ 10+2 Standard from a recognised university. The candidate must have a minimum aggregate percentage of 50% at the 10+2 level. After the completion of the class 12th you can go for the following courses:
Diploma Courses (1 year. )
Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (3 year)
Master of Journalism and Mass Communication (2 year)
Post graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication (1 year). . -
It doesn't matter whether you are a PCM aspirant or PCB. What journalism requires is fluency in your language and good command over English with a lot of confidence and passion.
If you are having these pre-requisites then you are ready to be a journalist and the fact is that even your 12th marks don't matter in this field. In major universities around India the minimum requirement for one to enter the university is 50% in 12th.
