How can I pursue a Ph.D (doctorate) in computer science?

In a majority of universities following graduates are eligible to do Ph.D: (a) M.Tech CS (b) B.Tech CS after GATE (c) IIT graduates are eligible for Ph.D directly based on their academic performance.
