To be eligible for admissions, you must take the SAT, SAT subject test and the TOEFL. Numbers alone will not get you through MIT, so in addition to high academic standing, you must have excellent extra-curricular activities attached to your profile, high-level project work, research interest and so on. Visit the MIT website and go through the admission requirements page and see what they look for in a candidate and prepare accordingly.
