Dear Sourabh, Being alumni of LPU, I can answer this question easily. My sister has taken admission at LPU this year in the B.Sc. Agriculture programme. LPU is the first private university that got approval by ICAR. You should have passed with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English Physics Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent. Moreover, you have to qualify for the LPU NEST exam conducted by LPU. Scholarships: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricu

LPU is the only private university that has ICAR approval. Agriculture is a growing sector in the present times and emerging as a field of opportunities. Agriculture is the right career option for the future of development. Agriculture is one of the most diversified fields than ever before, offering several jobs and self-employment opportunities to agriculture students. Agricultural technology is not only advancing at a fast pace but also creating new job opportunities for agriculture students.

If you are interested in exploring Agricultural Sciences and practices in contemporary times, you should go for B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons). B.Sc. Agriculture will get you to understanding soil, water, pesticides, technology, harvesting and maybe breeding. I must advise choosing the University that offers all-round development in both the courses. School of Agriculture, Lovely Professional University which is the FIRST PRIVATE SCHOOL to get accredited by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Students are also involved in Practical crop production, Rural and Work Experience (RAWE), Nursery raising for horticulture crops, Crop
