Being an alumni of LPU I would rather say that the school of Agriculture in Lovely Professional University is among the best place for pursuing the B.Sc. In agriculture. Eligibility for admission in this course is as follows, 60% in 10+2/Intermediate with English Physics Chemistry and Maths/ Biology/ Forestry + LPU NEST or 60% in 10+2/Intermediate 10+2 (Agriculture) + LPU NEST or 60% in 2 year Diploma (Agriculture) after 10th + LPU NEST Age Condition :- Minimum 16 Years (I. e. born on or before last date of admission) 5% to North East states and Sikkim candidates / Defence Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmir MigrantsNow you would be saying why I am saying like that, actually my cousin has completed his degree from here only. LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms. Because of which LPU NEST is not compulsory for all the programmes. As for this programme LPU NEST works for scholarship purpose only. Here I am sharing the eligibility criteria of B.Sc. Hons Agriculture programme I. e. Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years. Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent. Lovely professional university is the first private university to get accreditation from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). LPU provides the quality education by the well qualified teachers. LPU has become a brand across the globe. It has various national and international tie-ups. LPU provides a proper atmosphere or environment for agriculture students. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff.
