    B.Sc IT is primarily focused on subjects such as software, databases, and networking. In general, computer science degrees tend to focus on the mathematical and theoretical foundations of computing rather than emphasizing specific technologies.
    The eligibility criteria to pursue B.Sc IT in most of the top universities is pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2. (It may vary with the university you choose).

    Dear Saikat,
    The eligibility criteria for BSc IT differs from university to university, so you will have to check the eligibility for the college you wish to take admission in.
    However, the basic eligibility criteria to pursue BSc IT is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination in Science stream with Maths, Physics and Chemistry as subjects studied and with a minimum of 50% marks secured in Maths and/or in aggregate from a recognized board of the country.
