    Hi Soma,
    The only procedure to enter CA course is that you must clear the CPT exam. So, go for CPT exam. Details of this exam is given below:
    Those candidate who have passed Common Proficiency Test and Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination) conducted by an examination body constituted by law in India
    or
    an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto and passed CPT may join the Professional Competence Course.
    These exams are conducted twice every year generally on the first Sunday of the months of June and December.
    There is no restriction on the number of attempts a student can make at the CA CPT exami

    Hi Soma,
    CA has 3 stages
    CPT
    IPCC
    FINAL
    If you are a class 12 student or completed class 12 you can give CPT which is a 6 months program. After completing CPT you have to attend IPCC which is a 9 months program. Complete orientation and ITT programs after giving IPCC. Complete 3 years of articleship. Give FINAL exams

    Hi Soma,
    CA requires a lot of studying and hard work and when I say lot, I mean studying 14-16 hours a day. Also think whether you are ready to give up your college life for it. There are numerous sacrifices you will have to make.
    So go through your head, sit down with a pen and paper in your hand and decide what you want to do. Ask and question people in the line and after considering all of this only take up the decision to become a CA.
    To pursue CA you will have to enroll yourself with ICAI which is the regulatory body in India.
    1. To enroll with ICAI (Institute of Chartered of India) 10th completion is sufficient.
