You can apply for Diploma in fashion designing at any government college, polytechnic or state textile institute. NIFT also offers 1 year Diploma program. However, a degree program is better as it fully prepares you on the basis of the industry requirements and gives you a complete education of design and execution.
You can go for a degree program at NIFT directly in 2nd year, if you apply through lateral entry after completing your Diploma in designing.
