How can I pursue PhD after B.Tech?

    No, it is not possible. You must complete a Master's degree in order to pursue a Ph.D. so you must complete an M.Tech. Or Masters in the area of interest.

    Dear Anshul,
    B.Tech is a graduation, you have to complete Master or post Graduation level and then M.Phil is also a step, Admission Eligibility:
    A candidate is eligible for Admission and Registration for Ph.D. programme provided he/ she has qualified:
    Masters Degree of any recognised University/other qualification in a relevant field. The minimum qualifying marks are 55% at Post Graduation level (Relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Differently-Able and other categories. )

    B.Tech is considered to be a undergraduate course, you need to complete masters to be eligible for PHD

    Yes Anshul, for doing a Ph.D. you need at least a Master's Degree. B.Tech is considered a simply Bachelor's degree. However, if you want to pursue a Ph.D. or a fellowship programme in management then you are eligible to apply for these programs with a normal B.Tech degree. You can go through various Iims brochures for Ph.D. or fellowship programs if you are interested in Ph.D. management programs.
