You have to give entrance test for get admission in Phd , if you qualify NET exam then you may be exempted for test

Rinha the eligibility for doing Ph.D. is PG degree in the same discipline with 55% than you would appear in the entrance exam conducted by the different university after the cracking the exam contact your guide for the prepration of synopsis and face the RDC for Ph.D. registration

You'd better make a personal visit before seeking admission. Then you can have a right assessment of the competition for the seat. You can also know the chances of getting a scholarship then and you can find a professor for guiding and the possible topics for research.

The eligibility criteria for Ph.D varies for every institute. However the basic requirement is a masters degree or an equivalent degree in the relevant discipline.
However the cut off percentages vary. Some of the institutes conduct entrance exams and some of them require atleast two research
