The top 15% of the candidates in the National Educational Testing (NET) merit list for each subject and category will be declared qualified and will be eligible for lectureship. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has notified the procedure and criteria for declaration of result for NET. As per the new scheme, the candidates will need to obtain minimum marks in each paper separately.

Hello, The National Testing Agency conducts UGC NET Exam for awarding JRF or for the selection of deserving candidates for lectureship. The preparation tips for JRF and Assistant Professor is same as the question paper will also remain same for both. To clear this exam you must have to fulfill the required UGC NET Qualifying Criteria I. e. -
6% of the candidates appearing for the NET Exam will be declared as qualifying to be eligible for the entry-level post of Assistant Professor and the Reservation Policy as per the category will be applied to this 6% qualified candidates.
