How can I score a 99+ percentile in CAT if I start immediately my preparation? I just have proper 8 months.
I am a non-engineer OBC candidate with poor academics (74, 82, 56 in 10th,12th and economics (H)). Can I get calls from good IIMs if I score above 99 percentile in CAT?

If you are sincere with your studies then 8 months are enough for you to crack the CAT. Enrol yourself with a good coaching institute so that you get the relevant course material to begin your preparation. Also, do join mock tests so that you get your grip over time management.
