In order to take admission in your desired programme, you need to meet the eligibility norms. On inquiring for one of my friend from the counsellors of LPU I came to know that those who have 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST. Like many other exams it is also in very simple online nomenclature and will be MCQ format. The subjects for preparing for LPU NEST exam is based on what you have studied in your previous qualification, such as Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology and English. You can find Question Paper Pattern, Sample Question and Syllabus are available on the website which will be very helpful to you. In addition to this, LPU has one ten year practice book which includes previous question papers for specifically B.Tech, you may opt for the same. The cut off may vary from 30% to 50% marks depending on the phase you are seeking admission but in order to take admission in Honours, the cut-off is little stringent. Counsellors highlighted that there is separate cut-off for scholarship as LPU floats three slabs of scholarships so in order to get the minimum scholarship, the aspirant must get 60% of the total marks approximately and 80% of the total marks approximately to get the highest slab out of the current slab. LPU do offer scholarship to provide financial assistance to the students:
1. On the basis of marks in previous class
2. LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test LPU NEST on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship
3. Some national level tests like JEE Mains, NATA NEET UCEED CAT XAT MAT CMAT NMAT GPAT GATE etc.
4. Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities.
5. Board Toppers
6. For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities
7. Defence personnel and central armed police forces (CAPF) dependents
8. LPU has also floated COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship for the survivors of COVID and for their dependents as well. # From the above mentioned scholarships, candidate will get one that too which will be maximum one. I will advise you to book the seat at the earliest or maximum by 15-7-2020.

LPUNEST is not a tough exam. So, in order, to score good marks just be thorough with the basic topics of class11th and 12th.

Select the programme in which you wish to seek admission. There is a blue bar with a drop-down list where you can find every information like syllabus, question paper pattern, sample questions. You can find various questions on the internet for practice as well. All the best.

As per the admissions 2020 The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST and moreover LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. You can take admission as per the eligibility on the LPU website. The most important priorities of LPU is best quality of education and placements at great places.
