How can I score good marks in LPU-NEST exam?

I want to pursue B.Tech in CSE.

In order to take admission in your desired programme, you need to meet the eligibility norms. On inquiring for one of my friend from the counsellors of LPU I came to know that those who have 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST. University is taking Remotely Online proctored test from home considering the scenario of COVID-19. LPU NEST serves two purposes I. e eligibility and scholarship. Like many other exams it is also in very simple online nomenclature and will be MCQ format. The subjects for preparing for LPU NEST exam is based on what you have studied in your previous qualification, such as Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology and English. You can find Question Paper Pattern, Sample Question and Syllabus are available on the website which will be very helpful to you. In addition to this, LPU has one ten year practice book which includes previous question papers for specifically B.Tech, you may opt for the same. The cut off may vary from 30% to 50% marks depending on the phase you are seeking admission but in order to take admission in Honours, the cut-off is little stringent. Counsellors highlighted that there is separate cut-off for scholarship as LPU floats three slabs of scholarships so in order to get the minimum scholarship, the aspirant must get 60% of the total marks approximately and 80% of the total marks approximately to get the highest slab out of the current slab. LPU do offer scholarship to provide financial assistance to the students:
1. On the basis of marks in previous class
2. LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test LPU NEST on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship
3. Some national level tests like JEE Mains, NATA NEET UCEED CAT XAT MAT CMAT NMAT GPAT GATE etc.
4. Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities.
5. Board Toppers
6. For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities
7. Defence personnel and central armed police forces (CAPF) dependents
8. LPU has also floated COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship for the survivors of COVID and for their dependents as well. # From the above mentioned scholarships, candidate will get one that too which will be maximum one. I will advise you to book the seat at the earliest or maximum by 15-7-2020.

LPUNEST is not a tough exam. So, in order, to score good marks just be thorough with the basic topics of class11th and 12th.

As per the admissions 2020 The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST and moreover LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. Dear candidate, there is no need to worrry if you missed LPUNEST in first phase. The unviersity conducted test in different phases so you can apply for test again in next phases. You will get two chances to qualify test . If somehow you will not able to appear in first attempt then in second chance you can apply and qualify it by getting maximum scholarship in course fees. The fees and scholarship varies from one course to another.

What if I am not satisfied with LPU NEST score?

If the candidate is not satisfied with his/her marks in LPU NEST, he/she can retake the examination in the subsequent phases which will be conducted throughout the year. LPU has allowed attempts for the same examination so that students can improve their scores and become eligible for scholarship. It is advisable to use this time between retakes for focusing on weak areas, practicing more mock tests, and revising key concepts to perform better on the next attempt.

Dear, The amount of time you should spend daily preparing for LPUNEST depends on your current knowledge level, the programme you are applying for, and how much time is left before the exam. On average, it is recommended to dedicate 2–4 hours daily for focused preparation over several months.

Dear, Lovely professional university has its own entrance test named as LPUNEST and it is important to revise before exam it give you confidence as well as help you to score well. LPU do offers test structure, sample paper, previous year question paper as well as demo test. LPUNEST works as eligibilty test as well as scholarship test and a student has two chances to score well in this exam.
