Hi Rohit,Let me tell you my secret of cracking JEE Mains exam. Chemistry: NCERT. Read it thoroughly for at least twice or thrice. Practice some physical chemistry problems. Physics: H C Verma. Solve most of the numericals (you can skip last 15-20 numerical, if you are facing difficulty)
Maths: It doesn't depend on any book. Irrespective of the book you use, your practice will be the deciding factor. Practice a lot and you'll be able to solve the numerical. Have patience and faith in yourself. You will be able to crack it then.
    All the Best.

First of all, if your focus is on JEE Mains, then don't go for advanced classes. Go for classes, which are Mains specific and buy previous 37 years question papers, set and keep solving questions from it. You need to solve them by yourself at least in the second attempt after revision of that topic. Keep making short notes and track of formulas in a small diary. Hope it helps. All the best and study hard.

It varies from one person to another depending on one's current academic performance. But, yes, it sure is possible to crack IIT-JEE Mains and Advanced in 1-year if you follow a proper routine. Some of the tips are:
    Form a proper routine.
You should be devoting at least 5-6 hours on self study regularly.
You should divide the self-study time into two main parts:
One for revision purpose and second for daily self-study. Revision is very important because the syllabus of class 11th and 12th PCM is huge. Join a coaching institute and solve their study materials regularly. Nowadays, there are various tablet courses available such as Aakash
