how can i start my career in fashion designing?
i have done graduation with commerce, now thninking to make my career in fashion designing so please help

As you are commerce graduate,please check whether you are eligible for PG in fashion designing.If not . you can go for diploma course from any reputed institute and along with it you may go for part time/online course in fashion merchandising/garment production/image styling.later on you can try for masters/PG on regular basis from a reputed institute which will also give you placement opportunity.

There are various course options such as degree, diploma, certificate etc. After graduation in Commerce, you may opt for the fashion design course which matches your interest and skills. The basic eligibility is plus two with 50%. You need to pass an entrance exam as well. I would suggest you to contact the institute officials directly for specific criteria and admission details.

Since you are a graduate from commerce I'm sure you have a godd head for numbers which ultimately is needed for you to do business later. Even if you do not want to have your own enterprise an understanding of commerce helps you to see the commercial side of design. You will then not tend to go overboard with creating designs. They will be more practical designs.
