How can I start my preparations for JEE 2019 until my droppers batch starts at coaching institute? I don't want to waste time.

Well, I think I am capable enough to answer the question as I took a drop and cleared JEE then. First of all, it is really necessary to know in what concepts you are sound and in what concepts you can't even handle board level questions. Secondly, as you decided correctly, sitting idle would just make you resistive towards long study hours, which is a basic requirement of JEE. So start studying, I'd suggest start with making a time plan from today until the repeater batch starts. For that, just go through the previous questions that you gave in your coaching or somewhere and analyses what kind of questions went incorrect and you would then observe a pattern that a particular type of question or particular topic is weak and you end up wasting time every time in the same question. This needs to be corrected. Analyze this, identify the questions or the topics start reading them, read give them time, practice as much as you can practicing the same kind of questions again would help you getting the edge in the ranks and marks in the tests. Utilize the time in balancing the scoring in every subject as you never how AJEE paper might turn out. Try to revise the topics that would be covered initially in the repeaters batch as this would boost your test rankings in the initial which will increase your confidence level and believe me good ranks in tests matter a lot and that confidence in yourself helps you solve 3 - 4 extra problems out of your capacity. Don't be harsh on yourself as in repeaters batch they will start everything from datum considering that you have only basic knowledge or no knowledge about the topic. Before beginning your preparation, you should refer the syllabus and make a strategy to prepare them in a comprehensive way. All three subjects are very important and you should give them equal importance. For Physics along with some books such as Concepts of Physics by HC Verma, you should also refer NCERT books. This will help you understand the concepts in a better way. As it is a conceptual subject, you should understand the basic concepts thoroughly that will make the problem solving easier. After studying a particular topic, ensure that you solve the related problems on the same day. This will make your concepts clear and help you remember them in a better way. For Chemistry is a combination of concepts, theory, problems and chemical equations. Refer some good books that will help you understand the subject better. While studying a topic, you can always mark the important points so that you can refer them in future for revision purpose. You should also solve the problems related to the concepts and practice the chemical equations to remember them in a best possible manner. For Mathematics which is the most important subject and you can only be thorough in all the topics when you keep practicing the problems. When you solve the problems continuously you can create your own shortcuts and relate different topics. This will help you save time during the JEE Mains exam. These are some of the subject wise tips for the students who are going to appear for JEE Mains. You should make a timetable and allocate time for all the subjects. You can also allocate more time for the topics in which you are weaker. This will help you finish studying the syllabus within the timeline and give you time for revision.
