How can I start preparing for CAT? Will self study help me in cracking it?

You should start with a portion in which you are strong. Like best would be to start with mathematical aptitude. This portion needs more time and preparation. With this you can go with data interpretation. After this go for logical reasoning and then language (English grammar). If you will you require more time and you are weak, keep that subject or portion for last. Assess your strengths and weaknesses and then start preparing accordingly. You can choose a combination of well-versed portion and the weakest portion simultaneously. Prepare a time table that you have to complete a course in stipulated time. You can also do one more thing, divide your day in equal portions and start studying each and every subject by allocating time duration to each of them. You can choose any method. It depends on you how you can prepare well. Self-study will help you in cracking it.
