How can I start preparing for MAT entrance exam? Which is the best book for its preparation & how can I make a time table for the same?

Dear Khushi, All management entrance exams like CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT etc. more or less similar. Therefore, you can prepare English, general knowledge, etc. There are lot of books available in the market. For quantitative techniques, RS Agarwal is one of the best. All the best.

MAT is an objective type test with multiple choice questions. The essence is in the speed of answering. There is no specific book as such for its preparation. MAT mock test practice is essential but not enough. You will need to go through the MAT syllabus and understand the fundamentals of all topics, only then you'll be able to crack questions in mock test.

It is not compulsory to attempt MAT GK section as the score in not considered for percentile calculation but it is not recommended to skip it all together as it may dent your chances in colleges that look at candidates' sectional scores too.
